David Arkin Consulting is pleased to announce the promotion of Tara Jones to Content Operations Manager, a role in which she is overseeing the firm’s growing portfolio of branded content services for media companies across the country.

In this position, Jones leads all branded content efforts for the firm’s clients, which include newspapers, magazines, and television stations. She serves as the primary day-to-day manager for dozens of branded content campaigns each month and plays a central role in maintaining strong relationships with both clients, writers and video producers.

Jones, who joined David Arkin Consulting in February 2023, is responsible for ensuring the high quality of the firm’s written and multimedia branded content. She manages communication across clients and writers, drives content strategy, and ensures campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and with editorial excellence.

Jones brings more than a decade of journalism experience to the role. After graduating with a degree in multimedia journalism from Bowling Green State University, she began her career as a sports and entertainment reporter before going on to lead several newsrooms. She played a key role in launching a successful digital-only news site in Wisconsin in 2020, which earned industry accolades for its audience growth and engagement strategies.

“I’m incredibly excited to step into this role and lead our branded content efforts across such a wide range of media partners,” Jones said. “Branded content is one of the most creative and impactful ways media organizations can connect advertisers with audiences. In addition to her work in branded content, Jones also supports a host of other content-related projects for the firm. Earlier this summer, she penned a report for the industry showcasing how editorial teams can use AI for content efficiency.
